King and I got to have a special just me and him day date, we spend a lot of time together but rarely just Mom and King. So the husband (I’m sure he loves losing his name and just being called “the husband” all the time) each took a kiddo and had some one on one time. Every possible day Chris (he does have a real name) isn’t working is a family day – but maybe trading in a couple of those family days for little kiddo and parent day dates would be a great idea. That special one on one time, taking in that kiddo with no other distractions was really something special – and meeting for dinner with the rest of the fam jam and just talking about what we did all day was equally as special. Also while we are on the topic, maybe one day we can throw in a mom and dad day date (or night date) for that matter, because I think that would be pretty darn extra special too.
On another note, we opened up our curtains this morning to see Mother Nature fully dumping fluffy, cold white snow on us – obviously I need to check the forecast more often because I was totally jaw dropped shocked. So, high five mother nature for fooling me, once again.

love the dates with the kiddos! i admit, we used to be so much better, then we had a third and now we're off balance.
i've always meant to tell you, i love your pictures. do you use an action? they have such a nice soft look.
Balance is hard with two so with three I can only imagine! I have a few steps I use that I made into a actions for ease, but nothing bought – I'm really basic in post editing, thank you!
