Everyday that we all have zero work or school obligations, we like to make a family day – lately it’s only one day a week that it actually happens, so it’s even more special. Yesterday though, that was a technical statutory holiday (for 5 out of 12 Canadian provinces and territories) called Family Day – a stat day created to break up the drab zero holiday month called February. So what does one do on a holiday (which isn’t actually a holiday) called Family Day? Probably something really creative like spend the day with family and hit up the museum (and stay out of the cold, so tired of hiding from her).

The kids love The ROM, King is now asks questions about most things and is super interested in everything – they were two hyper little sponges walking through the ROM, rather then the usual two little race cars racing through and barely glancing at a thing.
