March break for us, starts…well it started at about 6:30 this morning. I have a few fun things planned, but nothing crazy. Mostly a lot of smaller outings and I planned some little activities around those. Like a trip to the greenhouse in the morning and then planting some indoor plants in the afternoon. This is the first March break that I set a sorta a schedule up, it’s loose but I want to make sure both kids know what the plan is as they have been mighty testy (tantrum-y) as of late. Also, it’s not really looking and feeling like spring out there (it looks just like above) so our regular park hopping won’t really fly and a little extra creativity needed to happen on my part.
We spent this morning at the Dollar Store, stocking up on crafts and stuff for fun projects for the week. I’m excited and nervous, have I mentioned they have both been mighty tantrum-y lately? Hopefully if the week works as planned (it never does) I can share what we did. But in the mean time, here are a few of the projects and things we hope to get into,:
- Painted Sticks
- Washi Tape Track, but probably for indoor scooter rides.
- Homemade Slime
- Have a movie day and watch E.T for the first time!
- Plant some indoor plants
- Visit an indoor green house and the library
- And of course, homework time.
What are your plans for the break?
