Last week on a really grey and blah day, the kid’s and I hung out in our undies all morning {because why create more laundry when we are just running around playing…indoors}. We finally ventured outside, since my kids go coo-coo-carazy from being inside for too long and this is what the kid’s wore {when we finally made it out}….

HARLOW: Denim Top: Zara {a denim dress used as a shirt}…Tank: b.childrenswear…Leggings: The Gap…Shoes: Zara

Harlow’s pants? they are a size 3-6 months and still not tight, she’s a mini!

KINGSTON: Jacket: Vintage…Tee: b.childrenswear…Suspenders: H&M…Jeans: Zara…Shoes: Native

They were not so cooperative with the pictures, mainly because we stayed in all morning so they just wanted to run! And scream and yell and be all around crazy! 🙂

And one and a half shoes is all I got of me, with Dad working crazy hours we are missing our Family Style posts. I need a new  camera remote, or last one ate thru a battery within 15 mins, but doing outfit shots with just me and the kids requires my human remote {Chris} or a working one.

Ok, September is literally just around the corner, I am so very excited! We have a bunch of SUPER awesome giveaways lined up to celebrate Kingston’s 3rd birthday with you guys {sorta a month long e-celebration} all month long! I’m so excited…trust me it’s gonna be so good!!

xoxo

Since my little King’s birthday is creeping up real fast my Etsy browsing has been pretty boy centric. I still have no idea what we are going to buy the almost 3 year old, mostly because we want to keep the gifts very minimal this year down to just a couple very special things. Simple is always better and really the kids barely play with the toys they already have. So here are some of the things I have been eyeing, maybe your boys would like them too!

1. Hip elbow patch cardigan {bchildrenswear $30}

2. King’s castle building set {manzanita kids $110}

3. Easy clean up and fun hiding spot too {mod mom furniture $450}

4. Little pilot ready to fly cap {soil $35}

5. Big wheel tee {wren willow $22}

6. Let’s play playtent {jack rabbits spring $125}

7. Slouchie {splendid little knits $20}

8. Crayon robots {posh paper creations $5.75}

Hope you all had a great weekend!!

Come by Early Mama today, the lovely Michelle asked me a few questions about being a young mom, a little Q&A.

xoxo

Dress your little guy just like a mini Hayden Christensen with this outfit.

1.Crewcuts winter brim hat  2.77kids plaid buttons down shirt  3.Crewcuts soccer camp hoodie  4.Crewcuts boys peacoat  5.Rayban junior orange wayfarers  6.American Apparel school bag  7.The Gap dark skinny jeans  8.All Saints kids military boots . photo

Ok ,on Just Jared is said this picture was snapped as Hayden was entering the Toronto Airport on Tuesday, ummm…we were wearing shorts and tank tops that day. NO idea why he’s all decked out in winter gear, but I do totally dig this outfit. I love the layered “I just thru this together since it’s all I had that was clean” look.

Happy Friday!! Any one have any plans? We have none, Dad is working, boo! So me and the kids will probably just party ;). But this Friday marks about a week till my mom comes to visit!! We cannot wait, we miss her a ton and it will be so nice to have her company/help, since Chris is going to be working 17 hours a day for most of  September, her visit is perfect timing!

Also please come over to Megan Nielsen Design Diary, I’m guest posting on how I started in the fashion industry. 🙂

1. Sweaters: Easy way to add some fun to any outfit, just throw it on over top. Crewcuts Polka Dot Cardigan.

2. Shirts: This top is extra cool because it’s for both boys and girls. Nico Nico Many Moons Tee.

3. Skirts & Dresses: Everyone, even your little girl needs a polka dot dress or skirt in their life. Zara girls Polka Dot Skirt.

4. Tights & Leggings: Tights like these make me miss being a little girl. Crewcuts girls Dot Tights.

Polka Dots….so cute! But also funky and chic, it’s a pattern that you can wear no matter what your {or her} style is! It’s also super hot for mom right now so you could be a stylish and cute matching pair!

xoxo

reminder: make sure to secure your September sponsor spot by this Friday, email [email protected] for rates and stats.

Also September is the month everyone is back from vacationing in the sun, and back surfing the net!

If you want to get the word out to more people and you think you have a blog, shop, brand or little business our readers will love send me an email for our current stats and rates: [email protected] or have a look at our sponsor page for more about sponsoring Baby Blackbird.

Lately Harlow does not want to be in the stroller, but she also doesn’t want to walk on her own. So either I walk around pushing a cute but crying angry toddler girl, or walk {very slowly} holding both kiddos hands while pushing an empty stroller. So I do a bit of each, if she starts throwing a fit; we walk hand in hand {the three of us, it’s only a little cute} for a bit till I can see the stroller or sleepy opening.

One day last week before we went on our daily park visit I snapped a couple pics of the kiddos before putting Harlow in the stroller for an epic fit. This is what they wore…

Seriously these two are too much somedays, the amont of love they have for each other is just unreal. Kingston wants Harlow to see and do whatever he does, and Harlow is right there behind him every step of the way.

KINGSTON: Hat: H&M…Glasses: Street Vendor sunnies with the lenses popped out…Shirt: H&M…Shorts: Zara…Shoes: Tiny Toms

HARLOW: Headband: Made by me…Shirt: c/o Miskabelly…Belt: from a pair of pant (no idea which ones..sorry!) Rompers: Zara…Sandals: Zara

Seriously he’s so goofy and so sweet. I love him! And his sweet sister, but that goes without saying!

xoxo
