It’s cold out, it’s a grey meh day and you just want to get cozy and hunker down for the day. But you just have too much to do and your brain is too active to cozy up. Well here is my one step guide to getting cozy and relax a little.
I Made You A Mixtape / 06
I thought I’d make a really upbeat mixtape for you this time, for a change. But after I put it together it turned out to be yet another chill slow jam mix. Not a sad slow jam, but another relaxing, happy one. What can I say, it’s just what I’m feeling these days — also I always seem to go for music that is good both on and off the mat. So here’s that long-awaited (for some of you) mix tape I made for you!
I also realized I haven’t really shared any pics from my trip to Aruba, I don’t know why I haven’t. Well other than I thought it wouldn’t be super interesting to see me all happy and relaxing. So here’s one of my favorite photos from the trip, the island was just so stunning — so grateful to have been able to go see it and with my husband to boot.
Workout Clothes That Are Stylish and Functional
Let’s preface this one real quick, I’m not trying to guilt you or tell you that “this is THE year” or even remotely anything like that — that wouldn’t be cool. When I talk “workout clothes” you can imagine I’m putting air quotes around the word: workout — because really you can (of course) wear them to work out, or to just hang out, go to a class, maybe meet a friend for coffee or whatever your big heart desires. No matter what your intended use actually is (no guilt), those “workout” clothes should be stylish and comfortable so you don’t feel frumpy wearing them as your “workout” or non workout clothes. Also, maybe the most important because they are workout clothes they need to be functional, then it just gives you tons of options for the intended use.
New Year, Let’s Do This!
I want to start this post with a really big HEY, how are you guys!? I know today is the day we are all crawling out of our pjs, and finally getting back into routine. For some of us it’s a welcome shift out of the holiday fog but for the rest of us, we are dragging our feet crying along the way (whomp whomp). But really it’s not all that bad, especially when you really do love what you do and your routine is pretty awesome.
Merry Everything!
Just a quick little note to say happy holidays and merry everything! However you decide to celebrate (or not) I hope you have a wonderful holiday. No Sugar, No Problem: 6 Tips to Help You Kick Those Sugar Cravings
I don’t think I ever told you, how much I love to eat sweets. I have love affair with sugar, my sweet tooth pretty much runs my life. After my very first detox I realized how unhealthy this love affair really was. I felt totally and utterly terrible while I detoxed off of sugar, then beyond amazing when it was gone and then of course I felt incredibly crappy when I introduced (never intentionally) it back into my diet.
