All of fall and ALLLL of winter, layers become less of a fashion statement and much more of a “just trying to keep warm” scream. Moving from winter into spring, (what is that SPRING, she speaks of?) it sounds so foreign and far away to me too but it’s coming, eventually. In spring layers are a placed strategically on our bodies so that we can prematurity shed the winter coat. Layers in the early spring time are also a good way to start wearing new and old spring favorites. I initially wrote this post for last Friday, but got caught up and wasn’t able to post it. This morning we woke up to a couple of feet of snow, and layers? Well I put on about 4 that covered everything except my eyes. So what sorta layers do I love best for now and later? (this is me asking myself), well I found a few that fit the bill. one [long fringe cardigan]
two [loose cropped hoodie] – three [chunky boat neck sweater] – four [dropped shoulder sweater]
five [breton stripe sweater] – six [chunky lose cardigan] – seven [stripe sweatshirt] – eight [long back turtle neck] – nine [two-tone sweater]
Really any layer is a good layer, but not all sweaters and sweatshirts are good for layering. Catch my slightly confusing, drift? Do you have a favorite go-to layer?
Love these layers so, so much! I don’t get to wear much of them because I live in San Diego. Last year, I lived in Alaska where I obviously wore sweaters upon sweaters. I miss the coziness! 🙂
