Little Lookbooks to Love

Anthem of the ants is by far one of my fav brands for little girls, I cannot wait for my itty bitty Harlow to fit into some of these modern, super sweet goodies. The anthem of the ants S/S 11 collection is classically pretty; classic cuts and fabrics with the perfect adorable little details. I’m pretty excited to see what they have in store for Fall/Winter!

I wanted to write a little post, telling you all about anthem of the ants, but their own ‘anthem’ says it way to perfectly for me to even try and re-word what this sweet little brand is all about:

“We think buttons are cute and bows are for dresses – not arrows.
We love vintage style on brand new people.
We create clothes for the girls who run lemonade stands,
who record radio shows for make-believe stations,
and who write their own stories even if they can’t write just yet.

Some girls will become majorettes
and some will hear a different drummer.
Anthem of the Ants is for both.

Dance to your own beat. Sing your own song.
March to your own anthem.”

You can buy anthem of the ants here.

I have a special love for this up-cycled clothing brand. Preloved is Canadian, actually made right in my home city, Toronto. They refashion vintage clothing into super, stylish, fashion forward goodness. Luckily they have an online store so not just us Canadians can strut around in Preloved’s up-cycled goodness.

Preloved’s Spring/Summer 2011 kids line {meme} is adorable, fun, colorful and so creative.

No piece is alike as they use vintage goods to create each item, so your kidlet will always have something totally special and one of a kind.

Preloved also has grown up clothes and goods for your home, it’s a gem of a store!

Nico Nico is one of those little lookbooks that leave me wishing everything was made in my size! Sustainable organic cotton and original, fashion forward prints and timeless, yet funky styles…so not fair that only my kids get to wear Nico Nico.

I have been coveting a few pieces, all of the tees are too die for, and the asymmetrical circle skirt is adorable and super practical.

There are a few different places you can buy nico nico, but one of our favourite online shops sells nico nico {one of our new favourite little clothing brands}.

Gorgeous clothes for little girls, the name of this brand: i love gorgeous, is perfect. Each piece is composed of so many gorgeous parts, from the pretty prints, luxurious fabrics, beautiful trims and of course the lovely designs. I love gorgeous was “born out of a love of textiles, colour, fashion, our favourite country India, and of course children”.

I really love this line of girls clothes, it’s sorta vintage, sorta fairy tale, sorta french, and totally day dreamy.

A special party dress? Or a whole gorgeous wardrobe, i love gorgeous will fit gorgeously in any little closet.:)

You can buy i love gorgeous directly from their online shop. Or for North America’s head to this shop or this one.

Blu Pony creates sweet vintage inspired clothing for little kids. Early America is Blu Pony’s source of inspiration for style and workmanship. Their clothes are super cute, a slightly modern and hip take on vintage. Any one of Blue Pony‘s items would be a classic staple in any little closet.

Their Spring/Summer 2011 collection is inspired by the gritty and pretty 1920′s. Denim, comfortable, pretty, and hardworking, you can definitely see the 20′s infused throughout this adorable collection.

I love so many pieces in this little line, but that little denim dress with the lace trim and the denim jumper! I know I will be dreaming about those two!

You can see the entire Spring 2011 collection here, and you can buy Blu Pony online at Lil’ Swanky.

I want this entire line {for my kids and me}, so rock and roll, so very creative and orginal, so darn cool! Petitbo is all handmade, which only deepens the love. Comfortable, boho, french, rock and roll, the inspiration sounds like it may not all mix together, but scroll down have a look, it’s the perfect description for the Petitbo style.

Petitbo is soon..very soon to be available when Lula Honey opens. But for now, you can buy these amazing goods on the Petitbo site.

Wonderboy is just for boys and Stun for girls {No Boys Allowed!}. Both are designed by the same talent, and have a similar modern, relaxed feel.

Wonderboy is all about prints, clean cuts, and ease of wear. Their Spring 2011 collection reminds me of modern vacation wear, with a classic feel. We all love a vacation, why not dress your little man like everyday is a vacation!

Stun is based on the same ideals: modern, clean cuts and ease of wear. The bright spring palette, fun and playful patterns together with the modern styles make a Stun piece a must have for any little girl.

You can buy your kiddos some Wonderboy and Stun at Juice Kids.

Another double Little Lookbooks to Love sorta week.;) I can’t believe I haven’t posted about Native shoes yet! I am obsessed with these shoes. Native shoes are cool, funky and can be worn with or without socks. Finally something to help phase out crocs!

I’m a huge supporter of Native Shoes, 1) they are really awesome, 2) they are Canadian {as are we!}. I have been raving about these shoes all over the interweb, they are on every must have list I have written.

They come on 3 different styles; Miller, Jefferson and Corrado, and each style offers a rainbow of colors! They of course have adults styles too {5 different adult styles}, which are also pretty darn cool.

Native Shoes are a total must have for Spring/Summer, perfect for playing at the park when its too hot for shoes, wearing to the pool when they need traction when wet, honestly they are pretty perfect for anytime!

I am having a hard time deciding which style and color to get King, I sorta want them all! Which ones are your favourite?

xoxo
