Little Style | What They Wore

Shirt: Zara Kids, Jeans: Baby Gap, Shoes: Minnetonka Moccasins

Harlow is still such a tiny little thing, she is still wearing alot of 0-3 Month clothes {She looks much bigger in pictures}. I have been trying so hard not to buy her clothes like crazy, since she has been growing so much slower then her brother and I’m not sure if things will fit her when the tags say they should {her “fall” clothes still don’t fit}. So trying not to shop too much {or at least be very smart in what I buy}, its hard. Very hard. 🙂

I just noticed the giant slobber markon her top, it’s her homemade accessory. 🙂

Fall is here! I love fall, I LOVE fall fashions and it’s the medium between warm and cool weather is heaven. This year I have 3 people to dress {Daddy included}, which is tons of fun! I am really lucky that {so far} all my kids {husband included} let and likes me dressing them up.

But I have been forgetting about dressing myself {no, I’m not leaving the house naked}, I realize now that I have 2 kids, how mums can get so busy that they just don’t have time for themselves. I need to take more moments to sit back and dress myself {take more care in dressing myself, might be a better way of saying it}, cause no one is going to dress me up {also I won’t let them or like it}.

Kingston is wearing: Diesel Jacket, Junk Food Tee, The Gap Jeans, Converse Sneakers

Harlow likes her soother, she won’t sleep without it, but she doesn’t really suck on it hard enough, so it’s always falling out.

Lately she has fallen deeply in love with her hands, who needs a soother or a thumb, my girl wants the whole hand!

Once she’s out of her swaddle {yes she still love to be swaddled} she quickly moves her hands to her mouth. I know babies love to put everything in their mouths, but I am pretty positive Kingston did not munch and suck on his hands when he was this little.

Personally, I would much rather her be addicted to a soother, I can take a soother away. But when she’s 2 going on 3 and we are desperately trying to get her to stop munching on her hands, we can’t exactly take them away. Right? 🙂

Kingston recently started noticing the camera, he now loves to smile and pose for pictures. Its pretty darn funny.
We aren’t quite sure where he learned the classic “CHEESE!!”, but it’s one of his favs. His most favourite poses are the same ones that crack mom and dad up like crazy; his “MUSCLES” {King doing a version of flexing} and “ROAR!” {Kingston pumps his fists and roars like a lion, or a monkey as he likes to say}.

Somedays he sees the camera instantly says “CHEESE”, we have to be a bit more sneaky when trying to take candid shots, or Dad does since Dad is the talented photographer in this house.

Also I’m sure I’m jinxing it, but I’m gonna say it anyways….I’m a little excited for Fall weather {we had a small taste of it over the weekend}. I LOVE summer and LOVE the heat, but I’m SO tired of summer clothes. I know I’m not the only one {it’s ok you can admit it too}. I can’t wait to dress the kids and hubby up in some fall duds, that being said, I better begin to purchase these said duds soon! 🙂

I started making a point of dressing our little Harlow, in more girly colors or accessories when we go out. Since babies really do ALL look the similar and strangers can never tell the difference between boys and girls at this age. I always feel a little bad when they call her a he and then they feel a little bad and stupid, when they find out shes a she! {its confusing even telling the story}.

So I figured this cute little dress would do the trick today, but I’m sure they will still get confused with the little denim vest. Since last time she wore denim, some one told me they thought she was a boy because boys wear denim.

Guess her moms a boy then? haha! Cause I wear ALOT of denim.

Black Bow Headband: Baby Blackbird,  Zebra Tank Body Suit: Baby Gap,  Denim Ruffle Bum Bloomers: Old Navy,  Gladiator Style Sandals: ZUZII

We took so many great pictures of Harlow in this cute outfit this day that I just had to post them in the ‘Now Wearing’ post this week. She is still so small, a skinny little thing, that alot of her clothes still do not fit her. So its very exciting when we try on something in the am and it fits!

Waiting for the subway, and riding the subway. Our use of transportation in the big city, and one of Kingston’s favourite things to do.
