A bit of blog love for today’s I heart.
One of my fav blogs is called Cinq Mai, it’s full of beautiful photography, and inspiring images. It is a french blog and of course I don’t speak or read a lick of French, but it doesn’t matter, the pictures are enough. The children are precious, the decorating is inspiring, and of course the outfits the children wear are beautiful. I’m addicted.
We are all moved { not fully organized}, and finally have internet up and running, so hard to live without internet, even if it was just for 2 or 3 days!

We have bought, ummmm, maybe 2 things, and those 2 things are stocking stuffers for the kiddos. I’m a last minute holiday shopper, I like the pressure. That and I’m horrible at keeping serects and always want to give the gift as soon as I buy it. So just better all around to wait till I’m in a time crunch.

You can create your own The Past Week post on Sunday’s. You can find the button to add to your post here, and you can link up your post below. 🙂
SO the past week was a BUSY one. Not so exciting for Kingston, well no, that’s a lie. He loved every minute of moving, to helping us carry things, helping to pack and unpack, even cleaning. He had a blast! Talk about child labour.
We are all super exhausted, the place basically looks like a bomb went off, but my neat freak, super anxuous ways will prevail and things will be all homey in a few days.
If you want to join and do your own The Past Week Sunday post {we would love it if you did!}, link it up below. You will find out what The Past Week is all about here, where you will also find the button to add to your post.
Have a GREAT Sunday, relax a little for me too!

My son is 2, so wants to do everything {unless he’s sick or scared} on his own. The best is when we are on the Subway, he trys so hard to do what everyone else is doing {or do whatever Daddy does}.
He wants to sit and wait for the subway on the bench, walk to an open seat {or sometimes try to stand and hold onto the pole, never works}, then read the metro like everyone else. It’s so darn cute!
I just get all Mom crazy and get all freaked out about what he touches, since the thought of whats on those seats and poles just creeps me right out {gross!!}. I have been trying to subside my clean freak tendencies while on the subway, as I don’t want to ruin this adorable little show.

1. Sleek Worker Boot 2. Funky Mountain Boot
3.Warm Worker Boot 3. Stylish Wing Tip Boot
A big trend for little boys this winter is the lace-up boot, but they would look super cute on a little girl.
The pants need to be slim enough {but not too slim} to be tucked in loosely, or a great boot-cut so they can fall perfectly over the top. Finding the right recipe {the mix of the pants and the boot} can be a bit tricky, but once you find it, these boots will easily replace at least 1 of his many pairs of sneakers. 🙂

Shampoodle is a line of cool, and comfortable clothes for kids. Each piece is basic yet funky {either in the color, or styling}, the entire line is the perfect mix of comfy, eco friendliness and style. There are alot of piece’s I wish my kids could be funky, yet comfy in.
Just a little FYI, Shampoodle also makes a line of equally as comfy and funky clothing for adults. Score!

Suit your Style, is a new Baby Blackbird feature. Basically each post will show a boys and a girls outfit to suit a specific style.
Not all of us follow trends {hence not all our kiddos dress to trends}, which is cool as no one needs trends to look good. If you’re a trend junkie, or not, everyone has their own unique style, or a style that they totally love. This is a post that will show different outfits inspired by different unique styles. You can dress your kiddos to Suit your Style, or maybe just inspire you to love a different style.
girl: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6.
boy: a. b. c. d. e. f.
These outfits evoke the feeling and style of that Rocker Cool look. They are just 2 of the bazillion options for Rock Star outfits.
Also. Don’t forget to submit your Mini Street Style pictures, we are always looking for fashionable, trendsetting, stylish kids to add to our Mini Street Style feature!
