What was that? You’ve been waiting for like ever for that big awesome list of trends (that are wearable and not overly trendy) from me for weeks and weeks!? I know, see the thing is these big giant lists take a big giant amount of time to put together, that and I’m a huge perfectionist. So without further adieu, here are all the spring summer 2016 trends, that are super wearable and not a stretch to add to your current wardrobe (okay, no promises).
These are the biggest trends of the season, but I choose items that won’t break your wardrobe and make you feel super uncomfy and out of the ordinary wearing them..for the most part. The Shoe Trend Report for Spring Summer 2016 will follow in the next couple weeks, but for now take all the clothes in.

one – chambray bomber / two – floral bomber / three – zipped up jacket
THE BOMBER JACKET – This is the jacketbomb dotcom of the season, a trendy must have that is pretty darn timeless and easy to wear. Also a style that will for sure get two thumbs up on the bomb dotcom man in your life.
one – scoop back maxi dress / two – slit maxi skirt / three – fitted cami maxi dress
PLEATED – Things like pleats never actually go away, but they do come full force at certain points…and this is one of those certain points. Pretty much a nice way to look a little classy and pulled together, even if you don’t feel it at all on the inside.
one – high side slit / two – scoop back / three – cropped and boxy
THE WHITE SHIRT REMIXED – The classic white button down that never ever goes out of style, is all updated, remixed and jazzed up for the season. So if you can keep a shirt white for longer than a few hours, this trend is for you!
one – slim small flare / two – wide leg culottes / three – faded ripped knees
THE FLARED CROP JEAN – 100% going to be a love or hate relationship with this one. The best part about this trend, is your legs get a nice breeze and you only have to shave the first few inches of your legs – that’s a clothing win in my books!
one – ruffled fold over / two – ruffle romper / three – tiered ruffle tank
MODERN RUFFLES – So pretty and girly, but also a really nice airy addition to spring and summer…perfect for pairing with torn up denim cut offs.
one – wrapped pencil skirt / two – wrapped maxi dress / three – wrapped romper
ALL WRAPPED UP – A simple wrap makes things a bit new, also that simple wrap adds extra fabric to areas you might want extra fabric to cover. Also it looks fancy and complicated even though it’s not at all.
one – tied waist shirt / two – quilted robe jacket / three – pajama shirt
THE DAYTIME PAJAMA – This one might take a bit to grow on you, it did for me. You know those mornings when you want to stay in your PJ’s all day? Well now you can, sorta.
one – elastic waist culottes / two – chambray culottes / three – pleated culottes
CROPPED CULOTTES – Culottes/Gauchos, I know a lot of you were hoping these would go away and not ever come back — they are actually super flattering (you might remember how good they looked on you 10 years ago?). But see the thing is, they probably won’t go away till you try them — even if it’s just in the store change room and nowhere else.
one – striped tee / two – fold over long sleeve / three – shoulder cut out
THE COLD SHOULDER – Finally the perfect top to go with your strapless bra! I know you’ve been waiting for like ever for a top like that. 😉 The perfect spring, not quite summer top to let in a little breeze but not too much.
one – denim mini skirt / two – faux suede mini / three – denim midi skirt
THE BUTTON DOWN SKIRT – It’s mostly in the mini, but you can get this classic 70’s style skirt in any length your heart desires. Just remember you don’t have to undo all the buttons, one or two is probably enough (you’ll thank me later).
one – fringe leather jacket / two – fringe kimono cardi / three – fringe earrings
STRINGY FRINGE – All those fun fringy things you bought in the fall, are probably still great to wear now. Well that is if they aren’t made for fall temps.
one – full lace blouse / two – victorian dress / three – bib layer
VICTORIAN – Romantic and delicate, a really nice addition to any casual wardrobe. We could all use a little (maybe just a teeny tiny) bit of lace.
What do you think? Which is your favorite trend of the season? Remember it’s cool if you don’t like one (or two or all of these, your cool factory will never go down if you don’t partake in trends.
