Remember the 90’s and how cool all the fashions were? You can stop rolling your eyes now. The thing is when you remember a style from a time passed it’s usually associated with a memory, so depending on the memory the style can be totally hit or miss, maybe just something you want to bury in the back yard. I could go on and on, embarrassing myself with my really bad 90’s style memories from my childhood — but that would only be tons of fun for you. Instead let’s just talk about how some of your favorite (or hated) 90’s styles are back, but better and not as neon as the real life 90’s party was.
You’ve probably seen people sporting things that made you think “I remember wearing that!” and then instantly made you think “sh*t I’m old, if I can actually say that”. But fear not you are not old, fashion is just moving really really fast. How about I show you how fast and make you fall back in love with some of your favorite 90’s fashions.

doc martens – but for real, better than ever. So many more styles, colours and ways to wear em. Timberlands are also back, and totally fit the 90’s bill too. The cutest are the mini versions for kids, as everything mini always is.

pleated mini – you can totally pull this off, again. Even with a cool pair of spandex biker shorts, now called hot yoga shorts in case you are worried about fashion mishaps.

crop top – I know many of you are currently shaking your head no, and you have been for a couple of seasons seeing people sport crop tops. If you are into the next trend, you can prob find a crop top to pair with it and actually show zero mid-drift skin..just saying.

high-rise jeans – not new (seasons old), but it fits here perfectly. So does the Mom Jean, but I felt like I might totally loose you if I threw that one in instead.

high top sneakers – back with fierce-ness, minus the neon and the cool air pump, oh you know what I’m talking about.

bandana – rad, right? Can you feel my sarcasm? But in all honesty, the updated wear of the bandana is super great — a cool cross between the choker and the bandana. An easy way to show off your gang colours or you fave colour.

backpacks – forever and ever amen. I have pronounced my love for them many times, I love anything that leaves my two free hands.

button down mini skirt – remember wearing this, with a crop top and a small drawstring back pack? Well no worries if you can’t, you can wear it tomorrow and make yourself a brand new memory.

plaid shirt – plaid anything actually (mini skirts, backpacks, etc). Extra 90’s bonus points if you wear it tied around your waist.
