Tuesday after a long weekend is like all the Monday’s from one month, combined. Three days of letting the chores and errands go, three days of just enjoying my people – well 3.25 since Chris had to work on Saturday. This morning was rough, sad and messy – you know the drill.
Sunday we attended the coolest art birthday party for one of our favorite little friends, my Instagram holds the only evidence of this awesome day. Yesterday the kids asked if we could go look at big boats, so down by the lake we went. After a long and beautiful day along the water, watching street performers, playing in the sand, lot’s of walking and trying to keep smiles on two grumpy kiddos faces (I swear it doesn’t look like it, but they were grump and grumpier all day) – we accidentally chose the path back to the subway that put the Steam Whistle Brewery right in front of us. So basically the day, and the entire May long weekend was pretty awesome. Currently I’m scrambling to fold mount laundry, and yawn as I try to get all my ducks in a row for a special little lady’s birthday later this week.
