Uniform / Twisted

Layers are my favorite, especially on days that should be Winter but the temps are more like Spring. There is no proper way to dress for unpredictable weather, but wearing a little of everything sorta helps. Especially if you are someone like me whose internal temperature is constantly fluctuating, layers are handy. You can easily take something off, or button something else up dependent on how the weather shifts (or your internal temp). Layers are great and they tend to look pretty great too (hello, third item rule).

There is however one pretty big exception to the layers looking darn good “thought”.
Have you ever seen someone struggle to get numerous layers on? It ain’t pretty and regardless of the size of the layers or the person it is always a bit reminiscent of “fat guy in a little coat” (oh you know that Chris Farley classic I’m talking about). Or at least that’s what I sing in my head (to myself), as I try to get my layers untwisted. So next time you see someone looking super effortless in layers, think about how twisted they must have been layering those casually thrown on looking layers.
